POSITION DESCRIPTION The Project Manager is responsible for meeting all contractual qualifications of assigned projects in terms of technical performance, costs, and schedules. CRITICAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB Responsible for the day-to-day oversight of design, right-of-way surveys and acquisitions, plan and job preparation, procurement, construction management and inspection, and managing of project personnel. Develops relationships with clients to assure the client's satisfaction with total project performance. Develops relationships with existing and prospective clients to promote and procure additional projects based on the high-quality performance on current projects. Develops and verifies project scope, evaluates impacts of scope changes to design, cost, and schedule, directs the project team, controls costs, monitors qualify of deliverables, identifies project risks and develops risk mitigation plans. Works with functional managers to create and lead project teams in execution of projects from conception to close-out. Checks and approves client invoices from Project Manager's respective projects. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB Interacts with clients on a regular basis. Manages personnel in accordance to project scope and qualifications. Performs all other duties as assigned.
